Indian Paint (Echnodontium tinctorium)

Our Indian Paint tincture is made from Echinodontium tinctorium, a brilliant red-pigmented mushroom used by Pacific Northwest indigenous peoples for painting and dyeing. We prepare it as a single-mushroom spagyric extract for a daily wellness ritual.

Each mushroom is wild-harvested or cultivated in North America. Our spagyric process is a traditional alchemical method — we extract the alcohol-soluble and water-soluble compounds, then recombine them with the mineral salts naturally present in the mushroom. The result is a fuller-spectrum tincture that honors the whole organism.
