Artist Conk is a close cousin of Reishi, a broad, flat shelf with a bright white underside that turns dark wherever it is etched. We use the whole, wild harvested fruit body and prepare it as a single mushroom spagyric tincture.
Take it any time of day on its own, or add it to water or tea.

Artist Conk is a close cousin of Reishi. It grows as a broad, flat shelf on hardwoods and conifers, dull brown on top with a bright white pore surface underneath. Scratch that surface and the lines turn dark brown, so artists have long used it as a canvas.
A perennial conk, it adds a new layer of growth each year and can live for decades. Herbalists have long turned to it to support respiratory strength and immune health.

Saturn
Artist Conk is associated with Saturn. It builds itself slowly, one layer of growth each year, and its bitter taste and long life mark it as a mushroom of time and structure, the realm Saturn governs.
Not a fan of taking it straight? Our extracts have a strong, earthy taste. Add a dropperful to water, coffee, tea, or a smoothie instead.

We start with the mushroom itself, U.S. grown or wild harvested, never mycelium on grain. A tincture can only be as good as what goes into it.

Alcohol draws out the compounds water leaves behind, like triterpenes and sterols. Hot water draws out the water soluble beta glucans. We run both, so the finished tincture carries both.
In the final spagyric step, we recover the mineral salts from the spent mushroom and return them to the tincture, so the extract is completed with the mushroom's own minerals.
Bitter and earthy, true to the mushroom itself. Add it to coffee, tea, or juice if you'd like to soften it.
