Created adverse effects

I bought this for my elderly parents hoping it would enhance their health and stamina. They are 75 and 80 years old. They tried a couple different tintures for three days and had to stop using them because of very negative side effects. My guess is this is not for older adults who are taking prescribed medications. :(

We are so sorry to hear your parents had an adverse reaction. While mushrooms are generally safe to take with a number of medications and supplements, all supplements (and some foods, for that matter) have the potential to react with some medications.

We put disclaimers on our website and all of our products, recommending to check in with a doctor/practitioner if nursing or on medications. That being said, we know how challenging that can be. A lot of medical professionals don’t have the time or desire to do much research on medication interactions with supplements.
