Turkey Tail grows in thin, overlapping bands of cream, rust, brown, and blue on hardwoods, and it is one of the most widely used medicinal mushrooms in the world. We use the whole, wild harvested fruit body and prepare it as a single mushroom spagyric tincture.
Suggested use: 1 dropperful (1 ml), up to 3 times daily. Start with one, which is enough for most people, and adjust from there.
Any time works. If you want a guide: any time of day, on its own or in water or tea.

Turkey Tail grows in thin, overlapping shelves on hardwoods, banded in cream, rust, brown, green, and faded blue. Its Latin name, Trametes versicolor, means thin and many colored, and what looks like a cluster of many mushrooms is often one connected organism.
It is one of the most widely used medicinal mushrooms in the world, and it appears in the Shennong Bencao Jing, the oldest surviving Chinese materia medica. It has long been used to support immune and digestive health.

Venus
Turkey Tail is associated with Venus. Its concentric bands of color flow into one another like ripples on water, a signature of the beauty and harmony Venus governs, and Venus also rules the reproductive system, one of Turkey Tail's traditional affinities.
Not a fan of taking it straight? Our extracts have a strong, earthy taste. Add a dropperful to water, coffee, tea, or a smoothie instead.

We start with the mushroom itself, U.S. grown or wild harvested, never mycelium on grain. A tincture can only be as good as what goes into it.

Alcohol draws out the compounds water leaves behind, like triterpenes and sterols. Hot water draws out the water soluble beta glucans. We run both, so the finished tincture carries both.
In the final spagyric step, we recover the mineral salts from the spent mushroom and return them to the tincture, so the extract is completed with the mushroom's own minerals.
Earthy and mild, true to the mushroom itself. It mixes easily into coffee, tea, or juice.
